Written in the past to maintain its presence, my journey begins in February 2023 when I leave Los Angeles, California on 72 hours notice to travel to Baja California Sur, Mexico with a man I just met off the internet. Within days of arriving, I found a leather bound journal at a local farmer’s market and my story of self-discovery, love, and redefining home started to unfold on the empty pages and open roads.
How it all started?
Each volume spans a year of time in my life, naturally exploring and revealing themes of healing, friendship, romance, and purpose as I documented my travels across time and space, both around the world and within myself. Stay tuned for next year’s volume II book release to keep growing alongside me - the story is already written and continues to be inscribed.

What was the intention behind publishing your journal?
To show that we are not alone in our stories & share a different perspective of storytelling, especially in how we tell them to ourselves. One can use poetry, imagery, metaphor, collage, or a mix of all options to maintain momentum for processing. There is no “right” or permanent way.
How was it written genuinely as a journal while being published?
It has always been just my journal. It wasn’t until a year later that the idea of turning what was already written into a book began, meanwhile I was still writing. Technically I’m now in the midst of documenting volume 3, but for me it’s just processing my present reality in my journal.
What do you desire the reader to know or take away from it?
You are the author and creator of your story. How you recount an experience has power and influence on your relationship to it. You get to decide how you tell it!
